I wish I could say the church is taking off like a sky rocket, but that is not the case. It is slow, slow progress. I really didn't expect a sky rocket -- and that's not always healthy, anyway. We continue to have good spirit, good attitude and desire to grow. There were 18 in attendance Sunday -- if 3 of our regulars had been there we would have been into the 20s!!! We had 5 "visitors." Three were people who really don't count as viable church contacts. One was my sister, and one was the grandson of one of our older members. The young man returned from Iraq just before Christmas and finally got some leave time to visit relatives. It was exciting for our church people because this is the guy they had been praying for and sending "care" packages to while he was deployed. So they finally got to meet him personally. There was also a young lady and her baby at church. She had prior church contact but hadn't been there for a long time because of problems with her pregnancy. Again, it was fun for everyone to see the baby -- and it was good to have her there. We approved a budget that is stretching the people a little but with any kind of growth at all we should be able to do it.

And Joyce and I have a new addition to our family -- actually, an addition to our "disbursement ledger." This picture gives you an idea that we are moving ahead and looking forward to traveling again. If the Lord is willing, it will happen. But this addition meant 3 trips to a little remote place a just south of Tillamook. As it turned out, each trip was nearly all day. But now it sits in our driveway.
Just to let you know, we love all of you and appreciate your interest. Keep praying for us.

Hello Dear Ones,
It is nice that have found another truck. I know the Lord will allow you to do some more traveling. You deserve it.
For now you are busy doing some work He needs done on the coast. That is thrilling to have the young man visit after being overseas.
I pray the young lady and baby will become regular attendees and get involved. New, young blood is good.
We are glad the snow and ice is gone and the rain is back from time to time. Much easier to drive in.
Life is about the same for us. We enjoy (and look forward to) your blog updates. You are in our prayers.
Oh, one thing, listen to KVI 570am or log in to KVI.com and clisk on listen now. Sunday from 1-2pm Delaina has a live talk show. Life Talk with Delaina.
The Lord has opened up this opportunity for her to share the gospel and help people with their life problems. She needs prayer and financial support too. All is tax deductable. Businesses can advertize and support her show. KVI can help with those details.
So, Life Talk with Delaina is available world-wide. Maybe you can mention it to your congregation to listen in. KVI.com on the web.
God bless you and keep you.

I love your new addition! (Especially because that means I'll have a car when I come visit this summer!! I noticed it has a shell. Obviously you have to remove it to put on the 5th wheel but are the hitches in place or do you have to overhaul it for pulling a rig? Does it have a back seat? Because the first thing Josiah's gonna want to do is ride in grandpa's new truck! Love you lots!
Hi
We love your new truck and can't wait to go camping with you. God has been good to you. We are praying for both of you and your new church.
