Trivial Tuesday

Since my friend Sue hasn't put up a "Macro Monday" recently, I thought I would use the idea for a "Trivial Tuesday" post -- only a day late. Can you guess what this white fuzzy stuff is? It blows around like a small fuzz ball then gathers with a bunch of its friends against weeds, at the edge of the grass, or in the corner of the garage if you forgot to put the door down. If you can guess what it is I'll buy you cup of coffee -- when I see you.

I know, I've been a slacker lately! To me it looks like milkweed. Lets see, maybe it is something that is more partial to your part of the US. (defending me self, my camera has been acting up and I'm actually thinking about getting a new one. It has lines in the pictures, and doesn't focus right and also shows pink where it is supposed to be white or a shadow. So... So I haven't been doing macros lately. Most of them were from winter and Christmas I took before. I'll get back on track. Right now it is 6 birthdays and 2 weddings I'm getting presents for and wrapping, and going to the party. Ha.

OK, Joan and Raymond get coffee. These cottonwood fluff balls (are they seeds?) fly all over the place for about 3 weeks each spring. There is a big stand of cottonwoods 4-500 yards from our house along a creek. We used to have them in the backyard but got rid of them a couple years ago. Still lots in the area so we put up with this stuff every year for a while. It's not too bad -- just don't forget and leave your car windows open!!
