Here are the pictures I promised. My internet connection is still having trouble with pictures so I'm using Jana's high speed. This is our campground in the trees up in the redwoods the first night out.
I mentioned we went to the Charley Brown/Peanuts/Charles Schultz museum in Santa Rosa. The next two pictures are taken there. The background behind me is made up of a jillion tiny Peanuts comic strips.

I had to put in one picture of Josiah's "Winter Holiday Program" (as they call it). Actually it was pretty good but terribly unorganized. It included the entire school -- pre-kindergarten through 5th grade. Each grade performed two or three songs. There was a mix of Christian Christmas carols, secular Christmas carols, Hanukkah songs, Kwanza songs, and a non-holiday song (for those who don't believe in holidays, I guess). This is a dance song Josiah was in. He is the 2nd white shirt from the left (in case you couldn't tell!!!!!)

Gene,
This place you stayed in the redwood trees looks awesome. And warmer than here!!! I'm glad you got to see Josiah in the program. We went to see Alyssa in hers, but missed the church program. Too many trips in one wk. to do. I think we've gone to 5 partys for staff and S.S. classes. We get invited to them all. We are partied out I think. We got an ice storm last night, but not too bad as up north. Cyndi said they got 12 in. of snow in Jackson. We only got about 2-3 in. but more ice. Enjoy Christmas with everyone. Love you guys, Merry Christmas - Sue and Charlie
